Additional contracts awarded by the Mining sector

Southern Peru Copper Corporation and Compañía de Minas Buenaventura award additional works to the JJC Group

The first contract, awarded by Southern Peru Copper Corporation, has a term of 240 days and is part of the current contract that JJC holds within the expansion project of the Toquepala Mining Unit. It is a system for recovering decanted water from the reservoir and from the filter wells into new storage points, from which the water will be pumped back to Toquepala. The contract includes earthworks, civil works, electromechanical works, instrumentation and communications, as well as assistance for the start-up of the system.

On the other hand, Compañía de Minas Buenaventura awarded two additional contracts for their Tambomayo Mining Unit in Arequipa, to a JJC Group's company that specializes in electromechanical assembly. The contracts are to be developed within a period of three months. The first consists of the assembly of metal structures, and the second of the mechanical assembly and piping of the clarification and filtering system.

In the case of Tambomayo, these contracts are the third and fourth implemented in said mining unit y JJC Group. The fact that they have been awarded is indicative of our client's willingness to renew its confidence in the capabilities of our Company.
