JJC receives ABE recertification
AMCHAM conferred the highest score given in the audit process.
The American Chamber of Commerce of Peru (AMCHAM) awarded JJC Contratistas Generales recertification as a member of the Good Employers Association - ABE, this time obtaining the highest score in the audit process (300 points).
The engineering and construction company obtained the aforementioned certification for the first time in 2008, the first construction company incorporated in the Good Employers Association as a Sponsor member.
"At JJC we believe that the talent and skills of our employees are the basis for consolidating the company," said Fernando Camet, general manager of the company.
The Good Employers Association, a nonprofit organization created by the AMCHAM, promotes Social Responsibility in the workplace, promoting respect for people and good practices such as timely payments of salaries and mandatory employee benefits, timely insurance payments (social security or private insurance) and a work environment that is safe and hygienic.
In addition, it drives four major motivation practices: Training and Development, merit pay, recognition and personnel performance appraisal.
