JJJC rejects corrupt practices, denies knowledge of bribery and offers collaboration with the authorities.

Regarding the recently published statements made by Jorge Barata, a former Odebrecht representative in Peru, our company states the following:

  • Our corporate policy firmly rejects corruption and any practices that imply obtaining an irregular or illicit advantage.
  • Our relationship with Odebrecht is limited to that of being a minority partner (7%) in the concession of sections 2 and 3 of the Southern Interoceanic Highway. We were never in charge of project management and control.
  • We deny that JJC or any of its officials has had knowledge or authorized payment of kickbacks to officials for the contract award and execution of sections 2 and 3 of the Southern Interoceanic Highway.
  • We reiterate our full willingness to cooperate with the competent authorities in clarifying these facts
