Sustainable housing project sponsored by JJC

Aligned with its corporate mission, the company supports a project of the students of the National University of Engineering, called AYNI.

In the framework of cooperation between the academia, the state and the private sector, JJC joins as main sponsor of AYNI, a project composed of a multidisciplinary team of students and alumni of the National University of Engineering, who are part of the 16 finalists in the international competition Solar Decathlon Latin America and Caribbean 2015.

Note that this is the first time a Peruvian team participated and was a finalist in this global university competition, originally organized by the Department of Energy of the United States, promoting research in developing solar-powered houses that are cost-effective, energy-efficient, and attractive.

"This project aligns our corporate mission regarding with the Places Where We Operate, as it seeks to reduce the impact on the environment and to improve the quality of life of these families", stated the corporate project manager at JJC, Johnny Villanueva Chavarri.

The company promotes the development of sustainable solutions from its scope of action (engineering and construction). These solutions should also help promote innovation, as this is one of the corporate values of JJC.
